Obamacare repeal replace is similarly going nowhere. The only way it inched through the House was some language changes that ameliorated opposition by the Freedom Boys. Neither that language nor much of the substance of the House version survives the Senate. So have fun with that. Health Care reform is really hard. That is why 80 years they couldn't do it.

As for your ignoring history - here is a lesson. With majority support of POTUS, midterm results of party in power - loss of 14 seats, while potus at less than 50% loss is 36 seats. Trump has never sniffed majority support and today is in the low forties to high thirties and under not less than THREE major investigations. Enjoy your history.
