1) tax things that are part of the problem- heavily
oil, coal

much less tax, or none or subsidies that are part of the solution solar, wind etc

but nuclear has so much baggage it is not currently part of the solution but could be if we could deal with the waste.

2) You want a simple solution- organic agriculture

also plant more trees and stop illegal cutting in tropical countries (especially).

nothing Earth shattering nothing that needs to change
anyones lifestyle

There is an odd resistance to things that are healthier AND employee more people AND is good for the environment

but whomp there it is.
