Edit to add: My research was entirely funded by The Gates Foundation, FYI. Luckily there are people who think this is a bigger problem than you do. And not a single fraction of a cent came from you.
No point in giving tax credits to incentivize research in green sectors.
Just let the market figure it out, right? There is not currently a cheaper alternative, on an industrial scale, than hydro-fracking natural gas. That is currently the cheapest form of energy. That is, until cars and trucks and boats start running on it. Then, the market will shift, and nat gas will become more expensive.
Nevermind the paltry amount of govt dollars that are actually invested in making the world a better place. Better to save a few million per year.
I dont understand why everyone in the 50's through the 70's raved about the advancements NASA made. Microwaves, velcro, TV; the modern world. Guess where that money came from?
