1) He's so delusional he steadfastly thinks he's right about everything, even the stuff he makes up. Someone that delusional doesn't seek help.

2) He has good benefits, but the last thing he wants to do is let anyone associated with his job know that he has a problem associated with the inordinate amount of business hours he spends on a message board.
