is that same narrative is being expressed by significant boosters within the program, it isn't confined to an immature simpleton who doesn't understand. This is the downside of Kim not having the integrity to quit at some point and forcing MU to make him the first coach in the entire history of the program to be fired. There now exists a divide and there will always be a subset of low information fans who feel he got a raw deal and if just given more time at some future point he would have gotten MU to 12th place in the SEC despite no evidence that was feasible. Nor of course desirable.
The same subset who worked against Alden for a decade because he wouldn't simply hand Kim the job regardless of no qualifications or required skills will have a new narrative to hold against Sterk that he felt MU should start operating like an actual SEC program again. They may seem easily dismissable based on their perspective, but by volume even a false narrative has power.
