Fuller on Kim's staff and Alden either knew how Fuller was recruiting or he was completely out of touch.

My impression of what happened was Kim was so upset about Fuller that he took it out on Fuller's recruits which is why so many of them left.

Every report I've heard about Martin is he is a class act and therefore maybe he will be able to avoid alienating the players and recruit he inherits from Kim.
