using a language that had words you've associated with certain things. If you share the same language taught the same way, you'll describe things well to people who know the same language that learned the language the same way. However, trying to describe an apple to someone that has never seen one and speaks a different language is nearly impossible.
We can't describe colors because our languages don't have the way to really describe what you're perceiving, that doesn't mean there's no possibility of a language that does relay that correctly.
Once you accept that there are some things you can't describe it's not a huge leap to accept that perhaps you can't really describe anything.
