Why do you think the jury failed to convict the officers of any wrongdoing? They saw the complete and unedited video instead of the snippets of Rodney getting thumped and which the media wanted people to see.

They saw Rodney repeatedly charging the officers. They saw Rodney repeatedly being told to stay on the ground and submit. The realized Rodney created his own set of circumstances by refusing to be arrested and instead, attacking the officers.
