Friday- In the top of the 1st inning, the first five Tiger batters all reached. Two runs in & the bases loaded with no outs. Never scored again. Baxter was good but mistakes cost her. Two walks & a wild pitch helped LSU score their three runs. And we left eight runners on base while LSU left four.
I do not understand this Natalie Fleming business. Of the 89 SEC batters who have at least two AB's per her team's conference games, her average (.100-5 for 50) ranks last. And Friday she came up with the bases loaded & no outs and popped up on the infield. Next AB was two on & no outs & she made a feeble attempt to bunt & popped it up to the catcher.
Before I go to bed tonight I'm going to make certain I know exactly where my Panic Button is. I may need it tomorrow.
For those of you who are Mizzou softball fans, Mizzou baseball fans & Royals fans, your three teams have combined to lose 19 out of their last 20 games.
