If the always compassionate and generally hypocritical socialist party wants to help them, pass a law and have the president sign it, saying that all humans on the planet have the same rights as american citizens per our constitution.

But the congressional wimps don't want to be attached to garbage like that so they whine about it and expect the courts to do what the socialists are afraid to do.
