and the KA firing / CM hiring gave the Porters an opportunity to return to MU and play for a real coach.

Remember, UW originally announced that they were retaining Romar for another season. It wasn't until after MU hired Cuonzo Martin that things suddenly changed and UW fired him. That's not a coincidence.
