Jay Williams was projected #1. They had just won the national title. He was a proven commodity. The Wizards would've drafted him instead of Keane Brown. He stayed in school another year and dropped to the no.2 pick in the Yao Ming draft. Jay Williams was hands down the best player in college as a soon and junior.
