in a STL charter school being recognized for excellence in their classroom being jumped by others in the school for acting "too white".

The parents, who had made great sacrifices to get their children enrolled in this charter school, were appalled.

But if the thug mentality is you have to "make it" in the black community by either becoming a rapper or a basketball star, there is something seriously wrong.
