Where are you getting that sea water absorbs more than land?

You are misinterpreting a fact that says water can absorb more solar radiation without warming as much.
Meaning simply if water and land absorb the same solar radiation, water wont heat up from it as much as land does.
Separate from that fact, land absorbs more solar radiation than water does because water is more likely to reflect that solar radiation back into space. Plants, asphalt, etc are more likely to trap that energy on land (thus the absorption).
