the NBA is more than a little naive. Once he is separated from his family, that's it. It's no longer for the pure pleasure of it. That's not to suggest it will be pure drudgery, but there is a daily intensity to the NBA that can't be simulated, and can't be learned in a classroom, or even at the college level.
