Barring something significant and unforseen at this juncture, I suspect that Porter Jr will get his first taste of 'failure' as he would currently define it this upcoming season, coming up far short of his expected goals.
I also think the realization of that, along with prospect of his brother joining him the next season, along with his dad being on the staff, along with being home schooled, along with the experience of moving to Washington for a year, along with his religious grounding and community connection, along with his family being very financially stable and gainfully employed....all come together to result in what would normally be an unthinkable situation where a player of his caliber play more than 1 season of college.
I think at the conclusion of next year he will still have alot left to prove, and that he won't see that as trivial and ready to move on to the next thing. I don't see this as a 1 year window, even though every other example would indicate of course it is. I don't think there is a comparable example in this case. I predict Porter Jr plays more than 1 season for MU.
