I think you try, as best as you can, to fix it - on both sides. Reduce government influence as much as possible by returning things back to the private sector. Put guidelines in place and enforce them. Consider whether Citizen's United should be overturned. People should expect to experience some pain to get that done. Nobody seems to be willing to do so. Each group has its sacred cows.
