Health Care and access to it was such a crisis 25 YEARS AGO that Bubba Clinton newly elected POTUS asked his lovely young bride to craft a system. Seemingly like ALL HC Reform efforts, it was done in secrecy. The core feature of Hillary Care was state exchanges.

So mr numbskull if it is OK I call you such, Health Care Reform was not some new "gimmick" discovered by Barack Obama, but was a driving force in the electoral politics for far more than those 25 YEARS. For 80 years presidents have tried to deal with it. Obama at least got the ball rolling.

Private HC as a national system works nowhere in the world. Single Payer with varying degrees of success works everywhere.
