very well, developed players, and turned each program around. Once he got to the tourney he won. Now, every situation and every roster is different. He made the tournament with 3 DIFFERENT programs. Usually when coaches consistently make the tournament it is with programs where they were with for more than 3 years. He left one job for a bigger job. Left that job because the fan base didn't appreciate him. Left the other to come "home".
My bet is that he will consistently make the tourney with this program and he will stay longer than 3 years to build this program in his vision. Winning 61% of your D1 games means you're better than average. Turning programs around means you're better than average. Making the Sweet 16 means you're better than average. It's not until you make Final Four's and/or win championships that you're considered great. In that vain, NONE of these coaches have proven that yet.
