I asked the rectal rodent below, and he declined to respond. Duh.
Your answers, in the unlikely event that any of you respond with thoughtful commentary will likely come from one of these selections:
1. Cut defense. We need to be as weak as possible to show our enemies that we mean them no harm. Then they will like us. Notice that this response is not an answer to the question.
2. Those numbers are too small to matter. It is perfectly fine to continue year after year to waste a small amount (tens of millions) on things we don't need. It makes us feel good about ourselves and gives congress power to get favors to people when congress grants them (only) $20,000,000 or so.
3. We must cut defense.
4. You're an idiot.
We are $20,000,000,000,000 in debt. Should we spend money on foreign countries that are likely corrupt in order to make libs feel good about themselves. Some of the money is going to african nations. Cutting that would of course be racist. But what if that money were reallocated to america's inner cities..?
GOTTA have the endowments, right?
GOTTA have PBS, right?
Twenty trillion dollars, and you want to fund the arts. That's sweet.
