right. How is it that states can have different ages to marry without parental consent? How can states have differing ages of consent for sex and depending on the state punish somone for having sex with a minor..

For example, how can Colorado imprison someone for having sex with a 16 year old, when it is legal in 31 other states?

How can Arizona imprison someone for having sex with a 17 year old, when it is legal in 39 other states?
