bike rims who opened a plant in the US. Able to buy a vacant plant for a decent price. Was able to produce the rims cheaper than if they did it overseas. Had a very good workforce to run the production machines, operate the warehouse, and ship product.
It can be done. It is just a higher level of job training to operate the milling machinery than someone sitting at a machine making injection molded plastic cups. Knew someone who had that latter job but couldn't keep it because he was an ADD millenial who couldn't commit to being at work on time....work interfered with his late night on-line gaming.
