Keatts: 44, in his 3d year, has done well, 1 NCAA appearance

Only one, Wade, has made it as far as the second round of the NCAA. All 3 only have one appearance under their belt. McCall is in only his second year of coaching at a midlevel conference at best.
Why are these bright and shiny objects so preferable?
