is a significant deficiency, as is player retainment and player development. But not to the degree that coaching has been.
He has coached MU for 87 games now. The coaching in most every one of those games, as well as the preparation and development in between games, has been abysmal and that is putting it mildly.
You could gift him a terrific roster, and he would still do poorly with it. He just isn't competent in any capacity related to being a head coach at this level.
