to have closed shops. But it is apparently okay for them to FORCE employees to join a union?

This law does nothing to keep any Missourian from joining a union it simply stops that from being a condition of employment.

I suppose you would also be against a law that stopped landlords from requiring sexual favors as a part of their lease agreement?
