Tornado warnings are not issued by private sector broadcast meteorologists. And neither are hurricane advisories or hurricane hunters.

There's long been a partnership with NWS and the broadcast sector, but some broadcast mets feel NWS is crossing the line and coming into their sector.

Realistically, there's very little to worry about at this point. Their mets are very smart, but typically not made for public eye.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
