Trump has disparaged federal workers publicly

and proposed anti-worker policies. Federal workers are understandably nervous about what the president will do. While employees shouldn't be doing such things, they are going to happen as long as Trump positions himself as an adversary to federal workers. Yes, I suspect some people are going to get fired for publicly doing such things (it might be a Hatch Act violation for one thing), and some rightfully so. But, Trump has got to expect some pushback from employees as long as he keeps being an adversary instead of working with them.
Remember that Trump asked for the names of people in the Energy department (and contractors) that worked on climate change. Federal workers are very nervous.
