K-Mart is on the brink of bankruptcy. Sears is as well. Retail is not hurting, just the traditional retail shopping centers.

This has NOTHING to do with Obama.

The country has modernized, but most of the working populations seems to be stuck behind the times. Where I live, there's high poverty and there's a lot of hope that coal mining is going to come back. The coal companies want to blame politicians for the downturn in coal production, but it has very little to do with that.

So many in my area think they're going to skip college and go work in the mines. Those times are over and many in rural America need to understand that.
