You may not like his in-game style, which is what you see during games, but you don't know how much effort he's putting in outside of that. So it's an ignorant comment.
What he's doing isn't working and you can criticize his ability or inability to change things up and do things differently or make adjustments, but none of us knows everything about what's going on or being said or taught.
