made at a major conference program in college basketball's modern history. It requires one to hold the position that MU is not desirable and unable to land a normal coach to defend putting Kim in that role. Its an unprecedentedly bad hire that can only be justified under the premise that MU as a program is no good and for some reason couldn't do any better.
