Nor is it really expected. Any incoming coach knows that they will be fired if they do not perform (eventually). Any university knows that while it might a destination job to a particular candidate at that point of time, things may change. A desire for a change of lifestyle, the alma mater position opens up, a heritage position opens up (e.g., Roy Williams/Mike Anderson), public embarrassment makes one want to leave, etc.... lots of stuff happens. Does your employer ask you if you are going to stay through retirement?
