Kelly is Mike Alden's buddy and he would never blame the mausoleum that is Mizzou Arena on Alden and his ridiculous policies - the destruction of the local fanbase, the lack of promotion of the team, the stupid parking policies, selling all the lower bowl tickets to corporations that never use the seats, building an arena that's at least 6,000 seats too big.

It's amazing how little substantive information Kelly provides. I don't agree with sam clemons in that I think Kelly is critical at times but he's lazy and really knows zero about recruits or anything going on. He's really not a Mizzou fan like a lot of longtime announcers. He really couldn't care less what is going on inside the program. He shows up and gets his paycheck and then goes back to selling insurance.
