since 95 we have had a handful of good years. We have history. Not accurate to say we have never been a god basketball school. We had Final Four teams, a few of them, we just couldn't capitalize. Aside from very poor leadership on the basketball front, the changes in basketball has been crippling to Mizzou. Haven't been able to recover from players leaving early based on talent rather than results on the court. Players like Kleiza, Gardner, and Dooling....and more recently Phil Pressey. This is only one of the many reasons why the decline has occurred. Mostly it's Alden's incompetence on several fronts.
