All more or less right, but Gilbert was not

a guy we took just to get Dooling. Gilbert was a top 100 recruit himself, and he would've been the highest rated player on our current roster by a wide margin.

I've always felt like Mike Anderson was the right hire at the time but someone we should've let walk when he got those other offers. We fought too hard to keep a guy who wasn't better than above average. I don't think many coaches (of those we could've landed) could have done a better job rebuilding Mizzou after Quin, but MA's job was done after those first four years.
