the situation. It doesn't speak to the state of the program then or now. I remember cringing watching street ball under Haith, in particular from our heralded point guard Pressey. He never seemed to grow. He went back time and again to acting on his own and at critical times.

I appreciated that Coach Anderson took Phillips away from the huddle early in the game and had a private conversation with him. It showed an awareness of Phillips being too jacked up and out of control. Right after that, Hughes got on him on the floor for a stupid foul. He needs to slow his game down, and start making better decisions. He needs to be aware of game situations, especially the clock late in the game.
