My discussion was about how he campaigned not on the Constitution or whether he was legally bound to do anything..

Trump HAS TO enforce federal law. He ran against Obama's
'pick and choose' style of law enforcement.

However, I doubt Trump would use his 'bully pulpit' to encourage Congress to change/eliminate drug laws (for pot or any other controlled substance)
