anarchist -- no ruler? no government (other than private ones that citizens willingly join, and which have no authority over those who don't)?
This post was a question asked of pickle and others holding the same/similar views. Under his paradigm 'the state' would have no authority over couples such as this unless they willingly agreed to join/be subject to it. No police would have authority to come onto their property uninvited.
That seems to be a problem to me in cases such as this whether they are causing grave harm to their children via heroin or alcohol or incest or 'intergenerational love' or whatever.
So the question to you would be whether you think that the police have no business intervening in situations such as this one. Is it none of their business? Should they butt out?
