Patton went through the same process that Kemp is going through now, and came out a way better player than he was before.

If Kemp takes advantage of this year to build strength and add to his game, then maybe he can start contributing here. College hoops coaches don't usually redshirt guys that they don't think will develop into contributors, so maybe KA thinks more of Kemp's potential than most here.

The guy I have compared Kemp to most is Keith Ramsey, who was a 6 point 5 rebound guy as a senior.
