B. "If the product was such that it was needed" -- if it was one of these products, then I refer to my other post in this thread, where I indicate that above-market pricing would be undercut by other companies charging a closer to market price and reaping great profits in doing so. The problem with your fear of predatory pricing, is that there is not a single historical example ever of this scheme both existing and working. Feel free to prove me wrong on that.
