There was an election and the Tigerboard lunatic fringe lost

Mizzou alums and Missouri citizens vote with their wallets and their feet on just how good a Tiger football program they want. It's not an election in the sense that they go to the pollsk, but rather one in the sense of they cast votes in the market place by choosing how much to support the Tgier program, if at all. And not enough of them care enough about Tiger football to do the things necessary for it to be an elite program. I.e. buy tickets and merchandise, give to the program, buy sponsor's products, go to bowl games, make demands on the University and Athletic Department administrations, etc. Bottom line is the folks (or an awfully lot of them) just don't care that much whether Tiger football is good, bad or indifferent.
