I will agree with you on a limited basis. The Feds should not require states to honor other CC permits. Of course that is because there should be no need for them in the first place.

"...the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Requiring a CC permit surely infringes upon ones right to keep and bear arms.
