The issue was that we have our beliefs in how sht works re-enforced by media that has targeted us - for those very beliefs. It had NOTHING to do with progressive tax policy.

That you raced to progressive tax policy as an idea that you find to be offensive mostly verified the validity of the initial post. And I can now imagine you will continue to rely on and be isolated by media that confirm your anti-progressive tax policy stance.
