the amount of debt the country would have to incur under Trump will be far less than under Hillary. What you Democrats don't seem to grasp is that lowering taxes will increase investment by the private sector, which results in an improved economy. An improved economy results in higher tax revenues that outweigh any minor additional revenues that MIGHT be gained from a tax increase (assuming the tax increase doesn't send us into recession and wind up with a net revenue loss).
