when shot. The rapid acceleration from there could have been from muscles contracting due to head trauma.

What we cannot tell is if the officer was tangled up anyway when the driver started moving the car. From the stills I saw, it appeared the cop was holding on to the seatbelt when he had his gun pointed at DuBose's head. So I heavily lean towards this being murder.
