Those jobs no longer exist and thus cannot be brought back due to the automation you reference.

But no worries. He promised on DAY ONE to deport 11 million people. That will magically "bring those jobs back". He is going to bomb the sht out of those people in the middle east. That will end all terrorism. He is going to cut all regulations b/c global warming is just a marketing scheme cooked up by the Chinese. He will be applying Stop and Frisk in all the Black Neighborhoods to end crime b/c "those people" have nothing to lose.

His interest was in getting the job. He said whatever he thought might do that trick as evidenced here
