face that they can't understand things and aren't equal. Typically they don't have a role in decision making, and the vote gives them that opportunity and they rose up and took it. But that is what happened, there emerged a great sense of pride in being uninformed and stupid and many started wearing it as a badge of honor.

I don't get all the 'left' and 'right' ****, politics is a complete bore to me. But people in decision making positions are supposed to be better informed and more competent than the masses because they have a responsibility to serve the less intelligent.
