I don't really care about politics. My opinion in all of this is that every dominant empire/culture has a shelf life, and this was likely America's tipping point. Not because we have an incompetent in the White House, but what it says about us as a society. The stupid and slothful have become the norm, and we are going to start taking approaches that will undermine our position in the world.

For my kids sake I hope globalization becomes a more dominant long term trend, because they won't have the same opportunities in America that I enjoyed in my lifetime.
