voted for Trump. Its certainly defensible to vote against Hillary, but to actually be voting for Trump requires one to either be a rube/simpleton or come from a position of intellectual dishonesty. There really isn't any other way to frame it. He is the least competent and viable candidate imaginable, and he ran about the most damaging and poor campaign possible. Its a celebration of the stupidity of the masses, which this serves as evidence is considerably greater than most care to recognize.
I recognize I'm basically doing exactly what you just said is the cause, but the reality is this was simply a rising up of a mass of lower intelligence and an example of the dangers of entrusting decisions to those who aren't equipped to make decisions. There are pluses and minuses of a democracy, and this is just a valid and somewhat extreme example of a minus.
