A. Article II, section 4 of the Constitution does not limit impeachment to crimes committed before being elected.
Is it your contention that if President Trump was convicted for murder or treason prior to 2017, he could not be impeached?
B. A president cannot pardon himself.
Is it your contention that Richard Nixon could have avoided impeachment by pardoning himself for Watergate?
Is it your contention that a president who commits a murder could pardon himself and avoid getting convicted?
