The Church takes moral positions open to application in our choices for public office but there are some which have no room for compromise. These include abortion, same-sex "marriage," and freedom to observe moral teachings in personal life and in business. He points out that the president not only has his own position on these issues but that he appoints cabinet secretaries, bureaucrats, Supreme Court justices and federal judges who make decisions and judgments affecting these issues. Naumann correctly says that elections have consequences. As flawed as the candidates may be, there is only one faithful Catholics can choose, Donald J. Trump.
